Hayes Chase, West Wickham

Hayes Chase was a dated property that no longer suited the needs of a busy professional couple with four children. They felt as though they were “living in someone else’s house” and needed a full redesign to create a home that worked for their family.

Having worked closely with the client to fully understand their needs, we carried out a complete strip-out and refurbishment, updating every part of the property and rebuilding it around the way they actually lived.

A rear extension created a spacious kitchen-diner, supported by a new utility room to handle the demands of family life. We added a dedicated office and reconfigured the ground floor to include a flexible family room that can switch easily between everyday use and entertaining. Upstairs, we constructed a new roof structure with a rear dormer to unlock additional space, incorporating three bathrooms and a WC into the final layout.

The result is a modern, functional home that genuinely supports a growing family’s routine.
